Meet the Artist

Behind the Pallet...
Me and Jacks
Bridgett-The pup that re-introduced me to the art of watercolor

I want to thank you for visiting my shop and finding out a little about what My Pallet And Me is all about.

I have always loved the arts, both fine art, and graphic design. Luckily, I inherited my artistic ability! For as long as I can recall, I have loved to draw and paint. Selling my artwork to family members, who always purchased, whether they wanted to or not (insert smiley face), made me want to create even more.

Jump ahead a few years...

With art in mind, I enrolled in college, dabbling in different areas; drawing, painting, airbrush, papermaking, sculpture, etc. You name it, I gave it a try. I received a major in fine art and graphic design. Outside of my day job, I started painting more, as I found it to be a stress reliever and seeing the end result made me happy.

Although I painted with watercolor in the past, my main medium has mostly been acrylic. That all recently changed, when I painted a watercolor of my daughter, Jacqueline's dog, Bridgett, for a Christmas gift. That painting and Jacqueline gave me the push and inspiration I needed.

With Jacqueline's help, My Pallet And Me was born. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
